The services and data this website uses
We updated this summary on 17 June 2026 for our new website. The detailed notice below was last revised in February 2022. Where the two differ, this summary reflects the services this website uses today.
Services we use
- Cloudflare hosts this website and protects our forms from spam. It processes technical data such as IP addresses.
- MailerLite sends our newsletter and delivers the free Istanbul Food Guide. It stores the email address you give us.
- Resend delivers the messages you send through our contact and inquiry forms to our inbox.
- Rezdy handles tour bookings and payments (also covered in the notice below).
Forms on this site, and what they collect
- Contact form: your name, email and message.
- Private tour inquiry: your name, email, group size, dates, tour interest and message.
- Newsletter / free guide: your email address.
Cookies and analytics
We keep cookies to a minimum. Two tools tell us how the site is used:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first and sets no cookies. It counts page views without tracking you across other sites.
- Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure visits. It loads only after you choose "Accept" in our cookie notice. If you decline, it never loads.
We save your cookie choice in your browser so we do not ask again. You can change it anytime from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
A few pages include content from other companies that may set their own cookies once it loads: Google Maps on our meeting-point map, YouTube for videos (in privacy-enhanced mode, loaded only when you press play), and the Rezdy booking widget when you start a booking.
These providers operate on servers in the EU and the US, so your information may be processed outside Türkiye. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, and contact us at [email protected] about your data.
